• Ferro Corp (FOE): FOE stock is up 1.4% today.

• Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is up 1.2% today.

• Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE): GPRE stock is up 1.0% today.

• Simpson Manufacturing Company (SSD): SSD stock is up 0.7% today.

• Albemarle Corp (ALB): ALB stock is up 1.0% today.

• Mueller Water Products (MWA): MWA stock is up 0.8% today.

• Chemtura Corp (CHMT): CHMT stock is up 0.8% today.

• Rockwood Holdings (ROC): ROC stock is up 0.6% today.

• Curtiss-Wright Corp (CW): CW stock is up 0.6% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is down 12.8% today and down 25.1% in the last month.

• Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is down 2.4% today.

• Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 2.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd (ACH): ACH stock is down 2.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Monsanto Company (MON): MON stock is down 2.2% today.

• Century Aluminum Company (CENX): CENX stock is down 2.0% today.

• Copene-Petroquimica Do Nordeste (BAK): BAK stock is down 2.0%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Sasol Ltd (SSL): SSL stock is down 2.0% today.

• Kapstone Paper and Packaging Corp (KS): KS stock is down 1.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• AK Steel Holding Corp (AKS): AKS stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
