• Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is up 2.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Nucor Corp (NUE): NUE stock is up 2.2% today.

• Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is up 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Grupo Simec S.A. De C.V. (SIM): SIM stock is up 1.0% today.

• Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is up 0.9% today.

• Rio Tinto Plc (RIO): RIO stock is up 0.9% today.

• Vale S.A. (VALE): VALE stock is up 0.8% today.

• Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is up 0.6% today.

• Intrepid Potash Inc (IPI): IPI stock is up 0.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Clearwater Paper Corp (CLW): CLW stock is down 3.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Harmony Gold Mining Co. Ltd (HMY): HMY stock is down 3.0% today.

• Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 2.5% today.

• Trex Company (TREX): TREX stock is down 2.4% today.

• Sun Hydraulics Corp (SNHY): SNHY stock is down 2.4% today.

• Eldorado Gold Corp (EGO): EGO stock is down 1.8% today.

• Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE): GPRE stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Polypore International Inc (PPO): PPO stock is down 1.1% today.

• Ferro Corp (FOE): FOE stock is down 1.2% today.
