More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.2%, the Nasdaq pushed 0.1% higher and the S&P 500 increased 0.2%.
Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:
- Apogee Enterprises (APOG): APOG stock is up 9.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Lennar Corp (LEN): LEN stock is up 4.7% today.
- Lennar Corp (LEN.B): LEN.B stock is up 4.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- KB Home (KBH): KBH stock is up 2.9% today.
- Pultegroup (PHM): PHM stock is up 2.6% today.
- Ryland Group (RYL): RYL stock is up 2.6% today.
- D.R. Horton (DHI): DHI stock is up 2.4% today.
- Standard Pacific LP (SPF): SPF stock is up 2.1% today.
- M.D.C. Holdings (MDC): MDC stock is up 2.1% today.
- Meritage Corp (MTH): MTH stock is up 2.0% today.
Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:
- James Hardie Industries Se (JHX): JHX stock is down 1.4% today.
- Gencorp Inc (GY): GY stock is down 0.2%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Tennant Company (TNC): TNC stock is down 0.2% today.
- Urs Corp (URS): URS stock is down 0.3% today.
- Regal-Beloit Corp (RBC): RBC stock is down 0.1% today.
