More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.3%, the Nasdaq was steady and the S&P 500 was up 0.3%.

• Yanzhou Coal Mining Company (YZC): YZC stock is up 3.5% today.

• China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (SNP): SNP stock is up 3.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Cnooc Limited (CEO): CEO stock is up 2.6% today.

• Rose Rock Midstream L.P. (RRMS): RRMS stock is up 2.3% today.

• Petrochina Company Limited (PTR): PTR stock is up 2.2% today.

• Noble Corp (NE): NE stock is up 2.2% today.

• Halcon Resources (HK): HK stock is up 1.7% today.

• Marathon Oil Corp (MRO): MRO stock is up 2.1% today.

• Concho Resources Inc (CXO): CXO stock is up 2.0% today.

• Synergy Resources Cp (SYRG): SYRG stock is up 1.9% today.

Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:

• Calumet Specialty Products (CLMT): CLMT stock is down 2.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Ferrellgas Partners L.P. (FGP): FGP stock is down 1.9% today.

• Carbo Ceramics (CRR): CRR stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Newfield Exploration Company (NFX): NFX stock is down 1.4% today.

• Dorchester Minerals L.P. (DMLP): DMLP stock is down 0.8% today.

• USA Compression Partners LP (USAC): USAC stock is down 0.7% today.

• IHS Inc (IHS): IHS stock is down 0.6% today.

• Legacy Reserves LP (LGCY): LGCY stock is down 0.4% today.

• Frank’s International N.V. (FI): FI stock is down 0.4% today.

• Qep Resources (QEP): QEP stock is down 0.4% today.
