Utilities stocks declined broadly on Wall Street on Wednesday, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 0.4%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.4% higher, the Nasdaq increased 0.8% and the S&P 500 was up 0.4%.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Exterran Partners L.P. (EXLP): EXLP stock is up 1.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Williams Partners L.P. (WPZ): WPZ stock is up 0.6% today.

• Targa Resources (TRGP): TRGP stock is up 0.5% today.

• Korea Electric Power Corp (KEP): KEP stock is up 0.4% today.

• National Grid Transco Plc (NGG): NGG stock is up 0.3% today.

• Potomac Electric Power Company (POM): POM stock is up 0.3% today.

• Dcp Midstream Partners LP (DPM): DPM stock is up 0.3% today.

• Mge Energy Inc (MGEE): MGEE stock is up 0.3% today.

• Huaneng Power Intl (HNP): HNP stock is up 0.2% today.

• Laclede Group (LG): LG stock is up 0.1% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• Itc Holdings (ITC): ITC stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Mdu Res Group Inc (MDU): MDU stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Northwestern Corp (NWE): NWE stock is down 0.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Atmos Energy Corp (ATO): ATO stock is down 0.8% today.

• Ugi Corp (UGI): UGI stock is down 0.8% today and down 31.3% in the last month.

• Northeast Utilities (NU): NU stock is down 0.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Sempra Energy (SRE): SRE stock is down 0.8% today.

• Dte Energy Company (DTE): DTE stock is down 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Cleco Power Llc (CNL): CNL stock is down 0.7% today.

• Allete Inc (ALE): ALE stock is down 0.6% today.
