- Steel Dynamics (STLD): STLD stock is up 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Mueller Water Products (MWA): MWA stock is up 2.0% today.
- Lyondellbasell Industries Nv (LYB): LYB stock is up 1.6% today.
- Berry Plastics Group Inc (BERY): BERY stock is up 1.6% today.
- Arcelormittal (MT): MT stock is up 1.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Fibria Celulose S.A. (FBR): FBR stock is up 1.4% today.
- Globe Specialty Metals Inc (GSM): GSM stock is up 1.1%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Balchem Corp (BCPC): BCPC stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Cameco Corp (CCJ): CCJ stock is up 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Cytec Industries Inc (CYT): CYT stock is down 49.7% today and down 51.4% in the last month.
- Owens-Illinois (OI): OI stock is down 2.6%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Stillwater Mining Company (SWC): SWC stock is down 2.9% today.
- AK Steel Holding Corp (AKS): AKS stock is down 2.6% today.
- Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is down 2.1% today.
- Syngenta Ag (SYT): SYT stock is down 2.1% today.
- Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE): GPRE stock is down 2.1% today.
- Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is down 2.1% today.
- First Majestic Silver (AG): AG stock is down 1.9% today.
- Royal Gold (RGLD): RGLD stock is down 1.7%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
