• Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is up 1.6% today.

• Novagold Resources Inc (NG): NG stock is up 1.6% today.

• Newmont Mining Corp (NEM): NEM stock is up 1.4% today.

• Goldcorp Inc (GG): GG stock is up 1.0% today.

• Barrick Gold Corp (ABX): ABX stock is up 0.8% today.

• Southern Peru Copper Corp (SCCO): SCCO stock is up 0.8% today.

• Greif Bros. Corp (GEF.B): GEF.B stock is up 0.8% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Curtiss-Wright Corp (CW): CW stock is down 2.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Valhi Inc (VHI): VHI stock is down 2.4% today.

• Polypore International Inc (PPO): PPO stock is down 2.2% today.

• Innophos Holdings (IPHS): IPHS stock is down 2.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Lyondellbasell Industries Nv (LYB): LYB stock is down 2.0% today.

• Clearwater Paper Corp (CLW): CLW stock is down 2.0% today.

• Grupo Simec S.A. De C.V. (SIM): SIM stock is down 1.7% today.
