Consumer noncyclical stocks finished up broadly on Wall Street on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.6%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.4%, the Nasdaq was up 0.5% and the S&P 500 rose 0.4%.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• The Andersons (ANDE): ANDE stock is up 1.2% today and up 24.0% in the last month.

• Clorox Company (CLX): CLX stock is up 1.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Herbalife Ltd (HLF): HLF stock is up 1.1% today.

• Starbucks Corp (SBUX): SBUX stock is up 1.0% today.

• Tootsie Roll Industries (TR): TR stock is up 0.8% today.

• Avon Products (AVP): AVP stock is up 0.7% today.

• Mead Johnson Nutrition Company (MJN): MJN stock is up 0.7% today.

• J.M. Smucker Company (SJM): SJM stock is up 0.7% today.

• Campbell Soup Company (CPB): CPB stock is up 0.7% today.

• General Mills (GIS): GIS stock is up 0.6% today.

Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• Owens Corning Inc (OC): OC stock is down 2.6% today.

• Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc (DPS): DPS stock is down 0.6% today.

• Coca Cola Femsa S.A.B. De C.V. (KOF): KOF stock is down 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Newell Rubbermaid Inc (NWL): NWL stock is down 0.2% today.

• Fomento Economico Mexicano S.A.B. De C.V. (FMX): FMX stock is down 0.1% today.

• Keurig Green Mountain Inc. (GMCR): GMCR stock is down 0.1% today.
