Transportation stocks advanced broadly on Wall Street on Thursday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.7%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.3% higher, the Nasdaq was up 0.5% and the S&P 500 rose 0.3%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Uti Worldwide Inc (UTIW): UTIW stock is up 5.7% today.

• Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (GOL): GOL stock is up 2.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• United Continental Holdings (UAL): UAL stock is up 2.1% today.

• Star Bulk Carriers (SBLK): SBLK stock is up 1.4% today.

• Jetblue Airways Corp (JBLU): JBLU stock is up 1.2% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is up 1.4% today.

• Union Pacific Corp (UNP): UNP stock is up 1.2% today.

• Southwest Airlines Company (LUV): LUV stock is up 1.3% today.

• Express-1 Expedited Solutions (XPO): XPO stock is up 1.0% today.

• China Southern Airlines Company (ZNH): ZNH stock is up 1.0% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Hornbeck Offshore Services (HOS): HOS stock is down 0.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Gulfmark Offshore (GLF): GLF stock is down 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA): CEA stock is down 0.3% today.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is down 0.2% today.

• Teekay Lng Partners L.P. (TGP): TGP stock is down 0.1% today.

• Copa Holdings S.A. (CPA): CPA stock is down 0.2% today.

• Macquarie Infrastructure Company Trust (MIC): MIC stock is down 0.1% today.
