Rumors are starting to swirl regarding Netflix (NFLX) possibly phasing out DVDs.

NetflixDVD customers have gone online to express their anger over the company’s lack of punctuality in its DVD-shipping service recently. They believe that Netflix is preparing itself to phase out DVDs.

Subscribers have been waiting an incredibly long time for a number of DVDs. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to these delays as customers are experiencing “very long wait” times for classics, new releases, obscure films and everything in between.

Customers are also complaining about Netflix ignoring their complaints. The company has not been giving satisfactory answers to many of its customers regarding the delayed shipments of DVDs.

Netflix has yet to comment on whether or not the company is phasing out DVDs.

NFLX stock is up 0.25% Tuesday afternoon.
