Tesla Motors (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk claims that the company may team up with Toyota Motors (TM) again in the next few years.

However, Musk said that he “would not be surprised if there is a significant deal with Toyota and Tesla,” in the next two to three years. He didn’t say if the deal would happen, but that it could include more battery deliveries than the current deal if it did happened, Reuters notes.

Toyota’s RAV4 electric SUV is set to be discontinued after this year. This will leave Toyota without an all electric car in its lineup. The company plans to move toward fuel cell vehicles in the future. This leaves only speculation as to what the deal between it and Tesla would possibly be, reports The Car Connection.
