aapl-apple-gold-ipadAccording to Bloomberg, Apple fans can expect the company to offer a gold iPad in it’s update to its full-sized line of devices that may be released this month. This would give the tablets a color option that matches up with previous colors available on certain iPhone models.

The gold iPad rumored to be announced next month will be an update to the company’s 9.7-inch tablets. There are also rumors of an iPad with a 12.9-inch screen, but speculation puts its release sometime next year. The last iPad was released in October 2013, reports Bloomberg.

It’s also believed that the new, gold iPad and its variants will include TouchID and Apple Pay features. These beliefs are based off of code that was discovered in an iOS 8.1 beta that suggests the features will be present in the new devices, The Daily Mail notes.

AAPL shares were down slightly as of Noon Wednesday.
