An update to six aftermarket Pioneer systems allows owners to use Apple (AAPL) CarPlay.
The update to the in-dash Pioneer systems are free to download and are compatible with iPhone 5 and later devices via Siri Eyes Free. Five of the Pioneer systems that can use Apple CarPlay are part of the company’s NEX line and the other is the fourth generation of the AppRadio 4, reports ZDNet.
