More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.1%, the Nasdaq was down 0.1% and the S&P 500 was up 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• Pilgrim’s Pride Corp (PPC): PPC stock is up 2.4% today.

• Tyson Foods (TSN): TSN stock is up 2.3% today.

• Brf-Brasil Foods S.A. (BRFS): BRFS stock is up 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Kellogg Company (K): K stock is up 1.7% today.

• Sanderson Farms (SAFM): SAFM stock is up 1.5% today.

• United Natural Foods (UNFI): UNFI stock is up 1.0% today.

• Embotell Andna Sa B (AKO.B): AKO.B stock is up 1.1% today.

• Vector Group Ltd (VGR): VGR stock is up 0.4% today.

• Nu Skin Enterprises (NUS): NUS stock is up 1.1% today.

• Herbalife Ltd (HLF): HLF stock is up 0.5% today.

Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• Avon Products (AVP): AVP stock is down 7.2%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Usana Health Sciences Inc (USNA): USNA stock is down 2.3% today.

• Revlon Inc (REV): REV stock is down 1.7% today.

• Ingredion Inc (INGR): INGR stock is down 1.4% today.

• Boston Beer Company (SAM): SAM stock is down 1.3% today.

• Bunge Limited (BG): BG stock is down 1.5% today.

• The Andersons (ANDE): ANDE stock is down 0.9% today.

• Unilever Nv (UN): UN stock is down 0.9% today.

• Unilever Plc (UL): UL stock is down 0.8% today.

• National Beverage (FIZZ): FIZZ stock is down 0.6% today.
