Starbucks (SBUX) is now offering free drinks for life to 10 lucky customers.
The move is part of a promotion to encourage consumers to pay via the chain’s mobile ordering or using a Starbucks card. Customers who pay via mobile between Dec. 2 and Christmas are eligible to win free drinks for life.
The chain will randomly select 10 customers who will win a free drink or food item every day for 30 years. “This is the first time we ever offered customers something of this magnitude,” said Sharon Rothstein, Starbucks executive vice president.
The company first tested its mobile ordering back in March.
SBUX stock is up 0.8% Friday afternoon.
