Jonas’ mention of a pickup truck was brief and he noted that it wasn’t in the company’s earnings forecasts, reports Business Insider.

Business Insider notes that an electric pickup truck would put Tesla up against General Motors (GM), Ford (F), and Chrysler. If the company could make a successful pickup truck, it would give it a whole new range of customers.

In the research report published by Jonas, he also notes that it’s possible that Tesla will delay its Model X. He estimates that the company could delay the Model X until the third-quarter of 2015, reports ValueWalk.
