Biggest Movers in Utilities Stocks Now – HNP ALE ETE

Utilities stocks finished down on Wall Street on Thursday, down 0.8%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.1% higher, the Nasdaq increased 0.4% and the S&P 500 rose 0.1%.

Only one stock in the utilities sectors showed gains:

  • Huaneng Power Intl (HNP): HNP stock is up 0.4% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

  • Terraform Power Inc. (TERP): TERP stock is down 3.0% today.
  • California Water Service Group Holding (CWT): CWT stock is down 2.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Allete Inc (ALE): ALE stock is down 2.4% today.
  • Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE): ETE stock is down 2.3% today.
  • American States Water Company (AWR): AWR stock is down 2.1% today.
  • Northwestern Corp (NWE): NWE stock is down 1.9% today.
  • El Paso Electric Company (EE): EE stock is down 1.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • South Jersey Industries (SJI): SJI stock is down 1.6% today.
  • Exelon Corp (EXC): EXC stock is down 1.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Mge Energy Inc (MGEE): MGEE stock is down 1.6% today.
