Macaulay Culkin confirmed he was alive by taking to his band’s Instagram account. He posted several photos of him and other members parodying scenes from Weekend at Bernie’s, which has two employees covering up their boss’ death by pretending he is still alive, reports CBS News.

The photos showed Macaulay Culkin on stage while his band was on tour. One of the images had another person holding his limp body up to the mic and acting like the actor was dead. His band is The Pizza Underground and they perform pizza parodies of songs by The Velvet Underground, CBS News notes.

The Macaulay Culkin death hoax started on Nov. 8 and was posted on a website that had an MSNBC URL. The death hoax claimed that Culkin was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Nov. 7. It claimed that police had checked the apartment following a request by one of his family members, reports The Inquisitr.
