The concerns over Apple HealthKit were raised by two sources close to the matter. These individuals claim that the FTC is worried about users’ health information being sold to third parties. However, Apple has assured the agency that privacy is its utmost concern, reports Reuters.

At this moment, there is no indication that the FTC plans to launch an investigation into Apple HealthKit. The organization has also refused to comment on the matter of its concern regarding the health-tracking service. However, the two sources claim that it’s closely watching the Apple Watch and how it will track health data, Reuters notes.

Apple was in talks with several major health-care providers in August concerning HealthKit. At the time, it wasn’t confirmed if any of them would sign on with the service, but it did show that there was interest in it.

AAPL shares were up slightly as of Friday afternoon.
