Basic materials stocks declined broadly on Wall Street on Wednesday morning, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 0.1%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.2%, the Nasdaq was steady and the S&P 500 declined 0.2%.

• Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is up 2.3% today.

• Eldorado Gold Corp (EGO): EGO stock is up 0.7% today.

• Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is up 2.5% today.

• Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is up 0.7% today.

• Mrc Global Inc (MRC): MRC stock is up 2.0% today.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Ternium S.A. (TX): TX stock is down 3.7% today.

• Rexnord Corp (RXN): RXN stock is down 1.3% today.

• Plum Creek Timber Company (PCL): PCL stock is down 1.1% today.

• Crown Cork & Seal Company (CCK): CCK stock is down 1.2% today.

• Sonoco Products Company (SON): SON stock is down 1.1% today.

• Huntsman Corp (HUN): HUN stock is down 1.3% today.

• Grupo Simec S.A. De C.V. (SIM): SIM stock is down 1.2% today.

• Lyondellbasell Industries Nv (LYB): LYB stock is down 1.2% today.

• Sun Hydraulics Corp (SNHY): SNHY stock is down 0.6% today.

• Bemis Company (BMS): BMS stock is down 0.7% today.
