More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.6% higher, the Nasdaq was unchanged and the S&P 500 was up 0.6%.

- Tenaris S.A. (TS): TS stock is up 1.7% today.
- Foster Wheeler Ag. (FWLT): FWLT stock is up 1.6% today.
- Heico Cp Cl A (HEI.A): HEI.A stock is up 1.5% today.
- Cummins Inc (CMI): CMI stock is up 1.6% today.
- Harsco Corp (HSC): HSC stock is up 1.4% today.
- Timken Company (TKR): TKR stock is up 1.5% today.
- Flowserve Corp (FLS): FLS stock is up 1.5% today.
- Pentair Ltd (PNR): PNR stock is up 1.5% today.
Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:
- Orbital Sciences Corp (ORB): ORB stock is down 3.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Toll Brothers Inc (TOL): TOL stock is down 1.3% today.
- Cemex S.A.B. De C.V. Sponsored (CX): CX stock is down 0.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Empresas Ica Soc Contrladora (ICA): ICA stock is down 0.8% today.
- BE Aerospace (BEAV): BEAV stock is down 0.7% today.
- Northrop Grumman Corp (NOC): NOC stock is down 0.6% today.
- Esterline Technologies Corp (ESL): ESL stock is down 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- AAR Corp (AIR): AIR stock is down 0.5% today.
