More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.2%, the Nasdaq was down 0.2% and the S&P 500 declined 0.2%.
Some of the biggest gainers among energy stocks include:
- Petrochina Company Limited (PTR): PTR stock is up 1.8% today.
- Western Refining (WNR): WNR stock is up 1.0% today.
- Questar Corp (STR): STR stock is up 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Petrobras Argentina S.A. (PZE): PZE stock is up 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Enbridge Energy Management Llc (EEQ): EEQ stock is up 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (SNP): SNP stock is up 0.5% today.
- Delek US Holdings (DK): DK stock is up 0.4% today.
- Global Partners LP (GLP): GLP stock is up 0.3% today.
- Marathon Petroleum Corp (MPC): MPC stock is up 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:
- Stone Energy Corp (SGY): SGY stock is down 15.3% today.
- Exterran Holdings (EXH): EXH stock is down 6.7% today.
- Laredo Petroleum Holdings Inc (LPI): LPI stock is down 6.6% today.
- Seadrill Limited (SDRL): SDRL stock is down 6.3% today.
- Cobalt International Energy (CIE): CIE stock is down 5.9% today and down 20.1% in the last month.
- Rosetta Resources Inc (ROSE): ROSE stock is down 5.4% today.
- Baytex Energy Corp (BTE): BTE stock is down 5.4% today and down 23.3% in the last month.
- Whiting Petroleum Corp (WLL): WLL stock is down 5.2% today.
- Halcon Resources (HK): HK stock is down 5.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Kodiak Oil (KOG): KOG stock is down 4.7% today.
