Transportation stocks finished up 0.8% on Wall Street on Monday.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.3%, the Nasdaq rose 0.8% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.3% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT): ALGT stock is up 1.8% today.

• Uti Worldwide Inc (UTIW): UTIW stock is up 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL): ODFL stock is up 1.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste (ASR): ASR stock is up 1.4% today.

• Southwest Airlines Company (LUV): LUV stock is up 1.3% today.

• United Continental Holdings (UAL): UAL stock is up 1.0% today.

• Forward Air Corp (FWRD): FWRD stock is up 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL): DAL stock is up 1.0% today.

• Union Pacific Corp (UNP): UNP stock is up 0.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is up 0.9%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Only one stock in the transportation sectors showed losses:

• Air Methods Corp (AIRM): AIRM stock is down 0.2% today.
