Transportation stocks finished up broadly on Wall Street on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.5%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.1%, the Nasdaq stayed the same and the S&P 500 was down 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Spirit Airlines Inc (SAVE): SAVE stock is up 3.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Scorpio Tankers Inc (STNG): STNG stock is up 2.5% today.

• Hub Group (HUBG): HUBG stock is up 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Genesee & Wyoming (GWR): GWR stock is up 1.6% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Ship Finance International (SFL): SFL stock is up 1.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Teekay Shipping Corp (TK): TK stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL): DAL stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Gaslog Ltd (GLOG): GLOG stock is up 1.2% today.

• GATX Corp (GMT): GMT stock is up 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Costamare Inc (CMRE): CMRE stock is up 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacifico (PAC): PAC stock is down 1.3% today.

• Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL): ODFL stock is down 1.1% today.

• Hawaiian Holdings (HA): HA stock is down 0.9% today.

• CSX Corp (CSX): CSX stock is down 0.8% today.

• Werner Enterprises (WERN): WERN stock is down 0.6% today.

• J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT): JBHT stock is down 0.7% today.

• Wabtec Corp (WAB): WAB stock is down 0.3% today.

• Union Pacific Corp (UNP): UNP stock is down 0.3% today.

• Knight Transportation (KNX): KNX stock is down 0.2% today.
