More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 1.6%, the Nasdaq fell 0.5% and the S&P 500 declined 1.6%.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Crestwood Midstream Partners LP (CMLP): CMLP stock is up 2.0% today.

• Cheniere Energy (LNG): LNG stock is up 1.5% today.

• Western Gas Partners LP (WES): WES stock is up 1.0% today.

• Comp En De Mn Cemig Ads (CIG): CIG stock is up 0.4% today.

• Boardwalk Pipeline Partners L.P. (BWP): BWP stock is up 0.5% today.

• Ormat Technologies (ORA): ORA stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• Transalta Corp (TAC): TAC stock is down 2.8% today.

• Covanta Holding Corp (CVA): CVA stock is down 2.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• One Gas Inc. (OGS): OGS stock is down 2.3% today.

• Agl Resources (GAS): GAS stock is down 2.5% today.

• Centerpoint Energy Inc (CNP): CNP stock is down 2.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (EPD): EPD stock is down 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Black Hills Corp (BKH): BKH stock is down 2.1% today.

• National Grid Transco Plc (NGG): NGG stock is down 2.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Mge Energy Inc (MGEE): MGEE stock is down 2.2% today.

• Dynegy Inc (DYN): DYN stock is down 1.9% today.
