The 10.10.2 update for OS X Yosemite includes several fixes to problems with its predecessor. This includes fixing an issue that caused Wi-Fi on some devices to disconnect at random. It also includes additional stability for Safari and fixes a problem that caused websites to load slowly. The update also fixes an exploit that was found in the previous version of the operating system. The update can be downloaded via the Software Update option in the Mac App Store.

iOS: Apple has released its iOS 8.1.3 to users via an over the air download, BGR notes. The update can be downloaded by users by going to settings and tapping the “Software Update” option. The idea behind the patent is that the company could put senors in the display of a device to determine how it has suffered damage. This would be used in drop and stress tests to determine what situations are most dangerous for a device. It could also be used to determine how a device had been treated and if it should qualify for repairs under its warranty.
