apple-rumors-patent-stylus-ipad-proStylus: A new patent filed by Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) shows off what the company may have in mind for a stylus, reports AppleInsider. The patent is titled “Superheterodyne Pen Stimulus Signal Receiver”. The patent details how a stylus could use unique transmission for its input rather than just the touch response used by the average stylus. This would include the device having a smaller tip to allow for precision control, much like a person would have while using a pen or pencil. The stylus isn’t expected to take anymore power to use than what a finger would.

Case: What appears to be a third-party case for the rumored iPad Pro has appeared online, MacRumors notes. The image shows off a case that appears to be able to hold a tablet in the 12-inch range that the rumored iPad Pro is supposed to be. The case has holes in the top and bottom for what could be speakers. There is also a hole in one side for a headphone jack and what appears to be holes for volume buttons on the other side. There is also a small hole that could be for the power button on the top-right of the case. It’s unknown how close to the final version of the rumored iPad Pro this case is.

Study: A new study claims that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are the most valuable smartphones of 2014, reports BGR. The study uses trade-in prices for devices from 2014 to determine which were worth the most. The two new Apple devices ranked the highest with peak trade-in prices of $730. Samsung was behind Apple with trade-in prices of $482 for the Galaxy S5 and $431 for the Galaxy Note 3. The study also found that the Apple has the most traded in devices and that its customer loyalty was at 81%.
