More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 1.8%, the Nasdaq fell 1.5% and the S&P 500 declined 1.8%.

- Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is up 4.4% today.
- Hecla Mining Company (HL): HL stock is up 3.2% today.
- Kinross Gold Corp (KGC): KGC stock is up 1.7% today.
- Royal Gold (RGLD): RGLD stock is up 2.4% today.
- Randgold Resources Limited (GOLD): GOLD stock is up 2.4% today.
- Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is up 1.7% today and up 23.6% in the last month.
- Silver Wheaton Corp (SLW): SLW stock is up 1.1% today.
- Newmont Mining Corp (NEM): NEM stock is up 0.6% today.
- Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPK): GPK stock is up 0.4% today.
- Clearwater Paper Corp (CLW): CLW stock is up 0.3% today.

- Copene-Petroquimica Do Nordeste (BAK): BAK stock is down 6.4% today.
- Reliance Steel & Aluminum Company (RS): RS stock is down 6.1% today.
- Polypore International Inc (PPO): PPO stock is down 5.9% today.
- Alcoa Inc (AA): AA stock is down 5.8% today.
- Minerals Technologies Inc (MTX): MTX stock is down 5.8% today.
- Circor International (CIR): CIR stock is down 5.7% today.
- Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 5.6% today.
- Carpenter Technology Corp (CRS): CRS stock is down 5.4% today.
- National Steel Corp (SID): SID stock is down 5.1% today.
- Huntsman Corp (HUN): HUN stock is down 5.1% today.
