More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.6%, the Nasdaq rose 0.2% and the S&P 500 fell 0.6%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Alexander and Baldwin Inc (ALEX): ALEX stock is up 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Jetblue Airways Corp (JBLU): JBLU stock is up 0.4% today.

• Heartland Express (HTLD): HTLD stock is up 0.4% today.

• Knight Transportation (KNX): KNX stock is up 0.3% today.

• Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT): ALGT stock is up 0.2%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Landstar System (LSTR): LSTR stock is up 0.2% today.

• China Southern Airlines Company (ZNH): ZNH stock is up 0.2% today.

• Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII): HII stock is up 0.2% today.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• CSX Corp (CSX): CSX stock is down 2.2% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is down 1.8% today.

• Golar Lng Limited (GLNG): GLNG stock is down 1.8% today.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is down 1.6% today.

• J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT): JBHT stock is down 1.5% today.

• Copa Holdings S.A. (CPA): CPA stock is down 1.3% today.

• Norfolk Southern Corp (NSC): NSC stock is down 1.2% today.

• Air Methods Corp (AIRM): AIRM stock is down 1.0% today.

• China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA): CEA stock is down 1.0% today.

• Mobile Mini (MINI): MINI stock is down 0.9% today.
