Facebook (FB) at Work, a new feature for the social media platform, is currently being tested by select companies.

facebook-at-work-fbFacebook at Work is a new feature that allows users to connect to coworkers and colleagues through a separate Facebook service. The service will allow those within a company to share information on each others’ Timelines and doesn’t require users to have a personal Facebook account, reports Wired.

Facebook at Work also has other distinctions to separate it from the normal website. One of these differences is that it has a white color scheme instead of the normal blue. This is to help employers tell the two services apart from one another. There will also be separate apps and websites for the work version of Facebook, Wired notes.

As it stands now, Facebook at Work doesn’t have ads. It’s unknown if the company will add ads to the service at a later time , or if they will forgo them completely. It’s also possible that Facebook may choose to charge companies to use the work version of its social media platform, reports TechCrunch.
