Basic materials stocks fell broadly on Wall Street on Monday morning, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 1.1%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.8%, the Nasdaq declined 0.4% and the S&P 500 was down 0.8%.

Some of the biggest gainers among basic materials stocks include:

• Harmony Gold Mining Co. Ltd (HMY): HMY stock is up 7.8% today and up 44.0% in the last month.

• Gold Fields Ltd (GFI): GFI stock is up 4.7% today and up 29.2% in the last month.

• Yamana Gold (AUY): AUY stock is up 3.1% today.

• Aurico Gold Inc (AUQ): AUQ stock is up 3.1% today and up 31.5% in the last month.

• Kinross Gold Corp (KGC): KGC stock is up 2.6% today and up 25.8% in the last month.

• Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is up 2.6% today and up 22.6% in the last month.

• Iamgold Corp (IAG): IAG stock is up 2.4% today and up 22.8% in the last month.

• Eldorado Gold Corp (EGO): EGO stock is up 1.5% today.

• Goldcorp Inc (GG): GG stock is up 1.3% today.

• Anglogold Ashanti Ltd (AU): AU stock is up 1.8% today and up 23.0% in the last month.

• National Steel Corp (SID): SID stock is down 5.9% today.

• Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 4.3% today.

• Steel Dynamics (STLD): STLD stock is down 5.3% today.

• Allegheny Technologies Inc (ATI): ATI stock is down 5.2% today.

• United States Steel Corp (X): X stock is down 5.5% today.

• Sasol Ltd (SSL): SSL stock is down 4.3% today.

• Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is down 4.3% today.

• Teck Resources Ltd (TCK): TCK stock is down 4.2% today.

• Century Aluminum Company (CENX): CENX stock is down 3.8% today.

• Freeport-Mcmoran Inc. (FCX): FCX stock is down 3.7% today.
