Sony (SNE) is launching a monthly gaming service through PlayStation Now.
Here are five things to know about it:
- The company announced on a blog post that subscribers will have “instant and unlimited access” to more than 100 PS3 games for a monthly fee.
- The PlayStation Now service will begin January 13 and Sony is offering a free, seven-day trial to kick it off.
- Beyond that, gamers can pay $19.99 per month or $44.99 for a three-month pacakge.
- Only North America PS4 users will have access to the service at first but Sony will eventually expand it across other PlayStation Now enabled devices.
