Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) is offering fans a Seahawks Frappuccino until Feb. 2.
The new Starbucks Seahawks Frappuccino is blue and green in color and it celebrates the team making it to the Super Bowl. It will be available in select stores located in Washington and Oregon.
The Seahawks Frappuccino was created by a Starbucks barista that is a huge fan of the team. He came up with the blue and green drink by adding blueberries, vanillia bean creme and whip cream mixed with green tea matcha.
“It’s definitely difficult to make something blue. I thought blueberry would be the best option to add to a vanilla bean Frappuccino and the matcha green tea adds a touch of green to the whipped cream,” Thom Arvin, the Starbucks barista behind the Seahawks Frappuccino, said in a statement. “It took about six blends to make sure I had the right amount of blueberries.”
