Twitter (TWTR) has officially launched its recap feature to show users missed Tweets.

The new Twitter feature makes changes to users’ feeds to show the missed Tweets from when they were away from the social media service. The feature will tag Tweets that the user may have missed with a headline reading “While you were away”.

The new feature doesn’t bombard everyone with with missed Tweets. Instead, it will show more missed Tweets to users that have been away from Twitter for a longer period of time. Users that are on the platform often won’t see as many of these Tweets.

The Twitter missed Tweets feature is currently only available to users on Apple’s (AAPL) iOS. However, there are plans to bring the service to Google (GOOG) Android users and the main website in the near future.

TWTR shares were up 2% as of Noon Thursday.
