More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stayed level, the Nasdaq increased 0.1% and the S&P 500 stayed the same.

- Cms Energy Corp (CMS): CMS stock is up 3.2% today.
- Dte Energy Company (DTE): DTE stock is up 3.2% today.
- Xcel Energy Inc (XEL): XEL stock is up 3.2% today.
- Newjersey Resources Corp (NJR): NJR stock is up 3.0% today.
- Edison International (EIX): EIX stock is up 3.0% today.
- Nextera Energy (NEE): NEE stock is up 3.0% today.
- Mdu Res Group Inc (MDU): MDU stock is up 3.0% today.
- Vectren Corp (VVC): VVC stock is up 2.8% today.
Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:
- Boardwalk Pipeline Partners L.P. (BWP): BWP stock is down 1.3% today.
- Cheniere Energy (LNG): LNG stock is down 0.7% today.
- Cpfl Energia S.A. (CPL): CPL stock is down 0.6% today.
- Oneok Inc (OKE): OKE stock is down 0.6% today.
- Oneok Partners L.P. (OKS): OKS stock is down 0.5% today.
- Targa Resources (TRGP): TRGP stock is down 0.5% today.
- Spectra Energy Corp (SE): SE stock is down 0.3% today.
- Cheniere Energy Partners LP (CQP): CQP stock is down 0.2% today.
