Apple iTunes Outage: Which Other AAPL Services Are Down?

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is experiencing an outage on its iTunes Store and some other services are also affected.

apple-itunes-outage-aaplThe iTunes outage is keeping people from being able to buy media, despite being able to see it. Apple has confirmed that service as down and has also included the App Store, Mac App Store and iBooks Store as others that are being affected by the outage, reports TheNextWeb.

Some developer services offered by Apple were also being reported as down. The company confirmed this when it listed iTunes Connect and Testflight as having connection issues. One Apple Store even had to switch back to an old credit card reader because of problems, TheNextWeb notes.

Apple customers started experiencing trouble with the company’s services at around 5:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday. Many services were still down around Noon. For every hour those services are down, the tech company is losing out on roughly $2.2 million, reports ZDNet.

AAPL shares were down slightly as of Noon Wednesday.
