Consumer noncyclical stocks rose broadly on Wall Street on Thursday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.3%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.2% higher, the Nasdaq increased 0.4% and the S&P 500 rose 0.2%.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

  • British American Tobacco Industries (BTI): BTI stock is up 2.0% today.
  • Unilever Plc (UL): UL stock is up 1.2% today.
  • Unilever Nv (UN): UN stock is up 1.0% today.
  • Diageo Plc (DEO): DEO stock is up 1.0% today.
  • Fomento Economico Mexicano S.A.B. De C.V. (FMX): FMX stock is up 0.6% today.
  • Brown Forman Inc B (BF.B): BF.B stock is up 0.9% today.
  • Anheuser-Busch Inbev Sa (BUD): BUD stock is up 0.8% today.
  • Molson Coors Brewing Company (TAP): TAP stock is up 0.9% today.
  • Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc (DPS): DPS stock is up 0.7% today.
  • The Whitewave Foods Company (WWAV): WWAV stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

  • Darling International Inc (DAR): DAR stock is down 7.8% today.
  • Herbalife Ltd (HLF): HLF stock is down 1.8% today.
  • Pilgrim’s Pride Corp (PPC): PPC stock is down 1.3% today.
  • Nu Skin Enterprises (NUS): NUS stock is down 1.0% today.
  • Tyson Foods (TSN): TSN stock is down 1.2% today.
  • Mead Johnson Nutrition Company (MJN): MJN stock is down 1.0% today.
  • Sanderson Farms (SAFM): SAFM stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Universal Corp (UVV): UVV stock is down 0.8% today.
  • The Andersons (ANDE): ANDE stock is down 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Lancaster Colony Corp (LANC): LANC stock is down 1.0% today.
