Transportation stocks rose broadly on Wall Street on Wednesday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.3%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 1.2% higher, the Nasdaq rose 1.0% and the S&P 500 pushed 1.2% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Grupo Aeroportuario Del Centro (OMAB): OMAB stock is up 3.3% today.

• Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste (ASR): ASR stock is up 3.0% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacifico (PAC): PAC stock is up 3.0% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Air Methods Corp (AIRM): AIRM stock is up 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Seaspan Corp (SSW): SSW stock is up 1.4% today.

• Forward Air Corp (FWRD): FWRD stock is up 1.4% today.

• Macquarie Infrastructure Company Trust (MIC): MIC stock is up 1.3% today.

• Canadian National Railway Company (CNI): CNI stock is up 1.3% today.

• CSX Corp (CSX): CSX stock is up 1.2% today.

• GATX Corp (GMT): GMT stock is up 1.2% today.

Only one stock in the transportation sectors showed losses:

• Scorpio Tankers Inc (STNG): STNG stock is down 0.4% today.
