Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) is introducing a new mobile app called Facebook Hello.
Here are five things to know about it:
- The app was made by the same people who made the Facebook Messenger.
- Hello “connects with Facebook so you can see who’s calling, block unwanted calls and search for people and places.”
- It shows you who’s calling you, regardless of whether or not you have the number saved in your phone.
- Hello allows you to search for people and businesses on Facebook, and call them with “just one tap.”
- The app also fives you the option of blocking unwanted calls in a straightforward manner.
Facebook Hello is being tested today. You can download it in the Play Store.
FB stock is up 1.3% Wednesday.
