Store: A new Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) Store is being planned for the Middle East, reports AppleInsider. The new Store would be located in Dubai and would be the company’s first in the country. It would also be the largest Store the company has ever opened. It will be 50,000 square feet and will be in the Mall of the Emirates. The entrance to the Store will be located on the second floor of the mall. It’s set to open its doors in August of this year.
GPS: Apple has acquired Coherent Navigation to improve its Maps service, 9to5Mac. Coherent Navigation was founded in 2008 and its employees are now working for the tech company. The acquisition was confirmed by both companies. The Coherent Navigation website now redirects to an Apple website and several of its employees have updated their LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD) profiles to reflect the change.
Mac: A new rumors claims that Apple is planning to release updated MacBook Pro and iMacs this Wednesday, reports MacRumors. According to the rumor, the tech company will release an update to its 15-inch MacBook Pro and 27-inch iMac. Not much else is known about the possible upgrades to the MacBook Pro and iMac. However, the recent update to the 13-inch MacBook Pro could be used to determine the 15-inch MacBook Pro’s upgrade. This includes an improved processor and graphics capability, as well as a ForceTouch trackpad.
