Crash: Several owners of Apple’s (AAPL) iPhones are having trouble with their devices crashing, reports Digital Trends. The problem with the iPhones isn’t currently known, but it’s affecting iPhone 5s, 6 and 6 Plus devices that are on T-Mobile (TMUS) plans. The bug doesn’t seem to be related to a specific version of iOS 8 as both 8.1 and 8.3 users are affected. Some owners of devices affected by the glitch have noted that it can shut down every 10 minutes to 30 minutes.

Patents: Two patents filed by Apple show possible plans for the company’s geofencing features, AppleInsider notes. The first of the new patents details a system that would allow iOS devices to better communicate with certain applications and systems based on where a person is located. The patent also details that this information could be sent to approved friends’ devices. The other patent is for a system that would allow users to spread nodes throughout their house that could triangulate their position in their homes with the help of their mobile device.

Code: Developers have discovered code in Apple’s newest OS X El Capitan that hint at two new products from the company, reports 9to5Mac. The first new product that is hinted at in the beta’s code is a 21.5-inch iMac with a 4K display. The code makes mention of new chipsets and possible graphics processor that could be used in the new device. The other hinted at hardware is a Bluetooth Remote Control. It’s rumored that this new product could be related to a possible update for the Apple TV.
