The confirmation regarding HomeKit and TV was confirmed when the tech company posted a support document concerning HomeKit on its website. This document states that third-generation TVs and later will be able to support HomeKit. This will allow owners of an iOS devices to control various devices around their home. Siri will also work with the system and can be given commands that will be relayed to the system.

Beats: Apple has issued a recall on its Beats Pill XL speaker  due to it being a fire hazard, AppleInsider notes. The company has launched a support page that details the Beats Pill XL recall. According to this page, owners of the device should stop using it immediately. A refund will be issues in the form of Apple Store credit or an electronic transfer of $325. Refunds will only be issues to customers following the successful return of the affected product. Beats Pill XL speakers must be sent to the company via a prepaid box that can be requested and can’t be taken to one of its Stores.

WWDC: Apple is gearing up for WWDC 2015, reports 9to5Mac. Several people have spotted decorations for WWDC 2015 going up at the Moscone Center. One person sighted a partially constructed AAPL logo and others have seen banners being placed around the building. These banners typically include information that could reveal major product announcements and many are being kept covered until the event starts next Monday.
