iPod: Apple (AAPL) has finally launched the newest generation of iPods, reports TechCrunch. The new iPods are available in several different colors, including silver, gold, gray, red, blue and pink. The iPod nano and shuffle haven’t been changed outside of these new color options. However, the iPod Touch has seen significant improvements. It’s running an A8 processor clocked at 1.10GHz, has 1GB of RAM and an M8 motion co-processor. There are four different models that range from 16GB to 128GB of storage.
iPad: A new rumor claims that Apple won’t be releasing a new iPad Air in 2015, AppleInsider notes. According to the rumor, the tech company is planning new versions of its iPad mini and the possible 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Due to this, the rumor claims that AAPL wants to keep strain off of manufacturer Foxconn and will release the next iPad Air in 2016. This new rumor also claims that the iPad mini 4 will be the last of its line as the company moves away from its smaller tablet.
Pay: Apple Pay has officially launched in the United Kingdom, reports Digital Trends. The launch of Pay in the UK will allow iPhone 6 owners and Apple Watch owners to pay with their devices at 250,000 locations. Several banks in the UK are already supporting the service and others have announced that they will in the near future. Those looking to try out the new service in the UK should be aware that there are limitations. Customers have a limit of £20 per transaction. However, this limit will be increased to £30 per transaction in September.
