- New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is up 1.5% today.
- Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is up 3.7% today.
- Terra Nitrogen Company L.P. (TNH): TNH stock is up 1.1% today.
- Agrium Inc (AGU): AGU stock is up 1.5% today.
- Goldcorp Inc (GG): GG stock is up 2.2% today.
- Bemis Company (BMS): BMS stock is up 1.1% today.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 13.1% today.
- Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd (ACH): ACH stock is down 11.2% today and down 22.9% in the last month.
- Sasol Ltd (SSL): SSL stock is down 6.1% today.
- Bhp Billiton Limited (BHP): BHP stock is down 4.3% today.
- Bhp Billiton Plc (BBL): BBL stock is down 3.7% today.
- Vale S.A. (VALE): VALE stock is down 4.3% today.
- Sociedad Quimica Y Minera S.A. (SQM): SQM stock is down 3.8% today.
- Methanex Corp (MEOH): MEOH stock is down 3.0%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Valhi Inc (VHI): VHI stock is down 4.3% today and down 30.5% in the last month.
- Pohang Iron & Steel Co. (PKX): PKX stock is down 3.1% today.
