apple-rumors-ipad-mini-4-split-screen-apps-aapliPhones: Data from Fiksu, an app marketing platform, hints at two new iPhone devices, reports MacRumors. The new data lists the two new Apple (AAPL) devices as the “iPhone8,1” and “iPhone 8,2.” It’s possible that this could be the rumored iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that the tech company is expected to reveal next month. Missing from Fiksu’s data is a third iPhone. This could mean that AAPL has no plans to release the rumored iPhone 6c later this year.

Processor: Specs for what could be Intel’s (INTCSkylake-U processors has leaked online, AppleInsider notes. The leaked processors could be potential candidates for Apple’s next MacBook Air. It’s unknown which of them the company would choose, but they are designed to fit into lightweight laptops. The Skylake-U processors include Pentium, Celeron, i3, i5 and i7 versions. The i7 and i5 models include integrated graphics, which could make them more likely candidates for the next MacBook Air.

iPad: It’s possible that Apple’s next iPad mini will be able to support split-screen apps, reports 9to5Mac. Currently, only the iPad Air 2 can support split-screen apps due to its processor power. However, a file discovered inside OS X El Capitan hints that the feature could be coming to the next iPad mini, which is being referred to as the iPad mini 4. This means that the iPad mini 4 might see a significant power boost that could put it on a comparable level with the iPad Air 2.
