PayPal (PYPL) has introduced a new feature called “PayPal.Me.”

paypal-paypal.mePayPal.Me allows users of the website to set up profiles that allow them to make receiving payments easier. Users will still have their current profile and will use it to create a link to PayPal.Me that includes their user name. They can then send this link to other PayPal users and those users can send them money via that link, reports TechCrunch.

The new PayPal feature is designed to make it easier to transfer money. It takes away the steps of using a person’s email to send money to do this. There’s also the possibility that it will work with the company’s OneTouch feature, which allows users to stay logged in from multiple devices, to make sending money even faster, TechCrunch notes.

Making a money transfer via the PayPal.Me link is free for PayPal users if they use their bank account number. However, using a credit card will result in a 2.9% being added to the transfer, reports Forbes.
