More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 1.2%, the Nasdaq fell 1.3% and the S&P 500 declined 1.2%.
Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:
- Guangshen Railway Company (GSH): GSH stock is up 2.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- China Southern Airlines Company (ZNH): ZNH stock is up 0.8% today.
- China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA): CEA stock is up 0.6% today and up 23.0% in the last month.
Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:
- Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL): DAL stock is down 3.4% today.
- United Continental Holdings (UAL): UAL stock is down 2.8% today.
- Southwest Airlines Company (LUV): LUV stock is down 2.3% today.
- Swift Transportation Company (SWFT): SWFT stock is down 1.9% today and down 26.4% in the last month.
- Fedex Corp (FDX): FDX stock is down 1.8% today.
- Express-1 Expedited Solutions (XPO): XPO stock is down 1.3% today.
- Alaska Air Group (ALK): ALK stock is down 1.6% today.
- CSX Corp (CSX): CSX stock is down 1.6% today.
- Union Pacific Corp (UNP): UNP stock is down 1.5% today.
- Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII): HII stock is down 1.6% today.
