The Facebook Most Used Words app has been described as a “privacy nightmare.” It collects the private information of individuals that use it and has collected information from all posts its users made in 2015. It has been used by 17 million people, reports Wired.

Users that agree to give the Most Used Words app permission give away information about their IP address, home town, pictures and more through Facebook. What’s more, this information can be stored anywhere in the world according to its privacy agreement. This means that it could store data in a country where there isn’t as much protection for private data, Wired notes.

Vonvon is the creator of the Facebook app Most Used Words. The CEO of the company has denied the claims made against it.  He said that it doesn’t store private data on servers and that it won’t sell it to advertisers, reports Naked Security.
