App: Apple’s (AAPL) Mac now has a redesigned Twitter (TWTR) app, reports 9to5Mac. The new Twitter app for Mac brings several features that have been available in the mobile app version with it in its redesign. It also includes other new features, such as a Today Calendar widget. This is the fourth version of the app and users can tell the difference between it and older versions because it has a circular icon. The app is free to download.
Diversity: One Apple investor wants more diversity from the company’s executives, Bloomberg notes. Investor Antonio Avian Maldonado II has created an “accelerated recruitment policy” proposal for the company to add more people of color to its board. AAPL said that this is an effort to micromanage its recruitment efforts. It won’t likely include the proposal in its 2016 annual meeting. The Securities and Exchange Commission doesn’t agree with the tech company and it take action against it over the matter.
Photos: Photos of what are claimed to be the rumored iPhone 6c have shown up online, reports Digital Trends. The images that are claimed to be of the iPhone 6c, or 7c, show a device that looks much like the already released iPhone 6s. The device in the photos has a metal case, which has been a rumored changing coming to the iPhone c line with this new smartphone. However, it’s completely possible that these photos are fake. One image of the device’s rear shell has the iPhone label for the smartphone covered by a person’s finger.
