The first photos of The Legend of Tarzan have been released.
The 2016 film will be directed by Harry Potter director David Yates and it stars True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard as the title role and Margot Robbie as Jane.
The film is a modern remake of the original story, with Tarzan returning to his former life as John Clayton III (a.k.a. Lord Greystroke) with Jane as his wife.
However, he must go back to the Congo as ordered by the English government to face Captain Leon Rom, a villain played by Christoph Waltz.
The Legend of Tarzan opens in theaters July 1, 2016.
